Crime Scene & Fatality Decontamination Company is providing information to, Insurance Agents, Apartment Owners, Apartment Managers, Commercial Property Managers, Commercial Property Owners, Business Owners, Hotel Operators and Homeowners, of the laws and regulations for the handling, disposal and decontamination of human blood, human fluid, sharps containers, hypodermic waste, chemotherapy drugs, or other residues from a scene of a serious human injury, blood, accident, illness, suicide, crime scene, or natural death (all defined as biohazardous medical waste under State of California laws and regulations). Crime Scene & Fatality Decontamination Company has a medically trained staff with knowledge and experience of CAL-OHSA and State of California Department of Health Services (DHS) requirements under TITLE 8 Section 5193 (Bloodborne Pathogens), for prevention of cross contamination, removal, storage, and disposal of regulated medical waste. Crime Scene & Fatality Decontamination Company provides minor light decontamination cleaning to major removal and cleaning of large areas contaminated with human medical waste for the safety of the occupants. Please be advised of the potential liability and risk to customers, property owners, renters, hotel guests and family members who could be exposed to Hepatitis, Aides, HIV, Tuberculosis, Hepatitis, even Bird Flu from improperly treated human blood, or human fluids. The State of California Department of Health Services (DHS), Medical Waste Management Act, Division 104, Part 14 of the California Health and Safety Code, sections 117600 through 118360 and local County Health Departments mandate the correct removal, handling and disposal in accordance with State and Federal laws. It is unlawful for any Person or Persons (means any individual, trust, firm, joint stock company, business concern, partnership association, limited liability or company corporation), to handle, dispose of, decontaminate or remove regulated medical waste as defined in Section 5193 of Title 8 of the California Code of Regulation from a scene as described the above paragraph by anyone other than a registered Company pursuant to Chapter 9.5 section 118321 of the Department of Heath Services. It is unlawful to use any treatment, method technique of process, designed to change the biological character or composition of any medical waste so as to eliminate its potential for causing disease, as specified in Chapter 8 section 118215 of the Department of Health Services by any Person or Persons other than a registered Company pursuant to Chapter 9.5 section 118321 of the Department of Heath Service. It is unlawful for any Person or Persons other than a registered Company that has been contracted with or that currently employs, a person whose service may include the transportation of medical waste as defined in Chapter 6 section 11832.6 of the Department of Health Services. Whenever the enforcement agency, district attorney, city attorney, or city prosecutor determines that a violation or threatened violation of the regulations adopted pursuant to this section that a release of medical waste into the environment, the agency may issue any order to the responsible Person specifying a schedule for compliance or imposing an administrative penalty of not more than one thousand dollars ($1000.00) per violation. Any Person who, after notice and an opportunity for hearing, violates an order issued pursuant to this section is guilty of a misdemeanor as per Chapter 10 section 118325 of the Department of Health Services.
